𝓐𝓾𝓫𝓻𝓲𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓪 is an Automotive Technology II student.
Her background at Habitat for Aviation combined with her experience at 𝐂𝐇𝐂𝐂 is giving her a foundation to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering at Clarkson University this fall.
She loves the hands-on learning and being able to explore colleges and careers at 𝐂𝐇𝐂𝐂.

𝐄𝐥𝐢 is a PreTech student who is exploring career opportunities in the trades. He is also considering getting his CDL and starting a trucking company. No matter what his future holds he says that he enjoys the different opportunities he and his classmates get to explore in PreTech including soils, dairy, cooking, and many others that help students decide what they want to do. 𝐄𝐥𝐢 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙣 is an Automotive Technology I student.
Although he is considering a career in law enforcement, Brandon chose Auto as a way to build technical skills in an area of personal interest.
He says 𝐂𝐇𝐂𝐂 is giving him confidence and preparedness for his future. Of course, employability skills like professionalism and confidence are transferable!

𝟏𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝟏𝟎 with a few tied. All students did very well in general.

𝙈𝙮𝙖 is a Medical Careers II student. She is planning a career in nursing. In the fall she'll be off to college to earn her RN and then plans to be a Labor & Delivery nurse. Mya is excited to start co-oping this semester.

𝓗𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓮𝔂 is a Human Services I student. She is planning to become a paramedic and is already gaining experience with Enosburgh Ambulance Service. She says 𝓗𝓾𝓶𝓪𝓷 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓲𝓬𝓮𝓼 𝓰𝓲𝓿𝓮𝓼 𝓼𝓽𝓾𝓭𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼 𝓸𝓹𝓹𝓸𝓻𝓽𝓾𝓷𝓲𝓽𝓲𝓮𝓼 𝓽𝓸 𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓷 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓮𝔁𝓹𝓵𝓸𝓻𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓷𝔂 𝓹𝓪𝓽𝓱𝓼.


Nim is a student in PreTech. She is currently exploring opportunities in both the fields of education and mechanics. Hands-on learning combined with field trips, and career exploration have been particularly valuable to Nim.

🚧This is completely out of their comfort zone but that's what it's all about! You can't get ahead in life taking the easy road...the road that lays in front of you without taking any side roads and detours and yes, hitting a couple of potholes along the way. 🏅The rewards are along the journey.

Cassidy Shantie is a student in Human Services II. She credits her time at CHCC with helping her to identify future goals and have work-based learning opportunities to network and gain experience in the field while she is still in high school. She plans to continue her education at CCV and earn a degree in Behavioral Science.
