Awesome job RES with the American Heart Association Heart Healthy Challenge! Together we raised $2620.44. 3rd grade won the Bluetooth speaker with 72% of the class participating. RES had 14 students complete Finn's Mission (the most in VT). 53% of the entire school population participated-so we meet our goal and students got to turn Mr S into a human sundae! Thank you Mr S for organizing all this and for being a great sport!

So much fun at our February Family Friday-"Heart Healthy". Thanks to our PE teacher Mr S families enjoyed physical activity stations in the gym and also got to sample tropical fruits (Guava, passion fruit, and persimmons) as part of our Harvest of the Month. Thank you to the families who participated, we love welcoming you❤️

All FNESU schools are closed today, February 17th.

Update

All FNESU schools will be delayed two hours tomorrow Monday, February 17.

Due to the winter storm, all schools in the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union will be delayed two hours tomorrow morning, Monday, February 17, 2025. Additional snowfall will accumulate and high winds are expected to blow and drift overnight. The delay will give all of us, including road crews, some extra time to dig out in the morning. We will reassess the conditions in the morning. If by chance we need to close, you can expect that call by 7:30am.

So excited for our upcoming vacation passport challenge! Get out and practice our Leader in Me habits over the break. Visit community locations or complete challenges at home or BOTH! Participate in a NOTCH cooking activity, skate at the Davis Park Ice Rink, visit the Arvin A Brown library and much more! Kick off the challenge at our RES Habit Event on Thursday, February 20th 5:00-6:30 and get a head start! Passports and info will be given out at Habit Night or sent home on Friday!
